I wasn't around for the MYF Sunday, but I heard it was a smacking success for the presentation and...(the choir). I would like to extend my gratitude to those who have participated and for guests who have attended the MYF Sunday Service.
(What happened to all the photos of the MYF Sunday? I know there were quite a few for SSS's Mother's Day Choir...Surely someone somewhere must have taken some pictures down... right?)
Anyway, I bet many (some) of you have already forgotten what our speaker, Ms. Jenny Qua spoke of for the part 1of Emotional Wholeness. Here are few points I managed to note down:
- Physical realm vs. invincible realm- What supposedly is our birth right (what God has given us), we strive to get them in the physical realm. As of this, we are merely physically alive, and not spiritually alive (Ephesians 4:18 & 1 Corinthians 2:14). All of which cause us to have negative emotions, or being spiritually poor.
- The result of being being spiritually poor - Frighten, fearful, anxious, guilty, shameful, rejected, weak, powerless, depressed, angry...
- Crossing the border (to be spiritually alive) - "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." -John 10:10b
(Read also John 1:1-4, John 11:25, & 1 John 5:12)
So... if you want to know more about how to have emotional wholeness (its part 2 actually), do come and join us this coming Saturday same place and time.
God Bless.
